Introduction
Cypher is looking for a financial reporting Manager to build a team, processes, and financial products and contribute to the growth of the company.
Your Role
- Financial Reporting Leadership: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial reports and statements for our clients, in alignment with regulatory requirements and company standards. - Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing financial strategies, identifying opportunities, and mitigating risks. - Team Building and Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of skilled professionals, fostering an environment of collaboration, growth, and excellence. - Product Development: Contribute to the creation and enhancement of our financial solutions, leveraging market insights and innovative approaches to meet evolving customer needs. - Contributing to Company Growth: Collaborate cross-functionally to contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company, providing key financial insights and actionable recommendations.
Your Team
You will join the Moroccan office of Cypher and report directly to the CEO.
Your Qualifications
- Accounting and Finance Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge in accounting and finance, including a deep understanding of accounting best practices, IFRS, and U.S GAAP. - Technical Skills: Proficient in data entry, tech-savvy, and adept at using accounting software like XERO, Quickbooks, and CRM. Power BI proficiency is a plus. - Attention to Detail: Known for high accuracy in producing work, maintaining professionalism, and exhibiting exceptional organizational skills. - Education and Experience: Possesses an associate's degree with a minimum of two years of experience, ideally with a CFA or CPA certification. Proven track record as an accountant. - Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the accounting and finance industry, particularly in tech start-ups, demonstrating outstanding knowledge of accounting software and online tools. - Communication and Relationship-Building: Excellent communication and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. - Business Acumen: Exhibits strong business acumen, organizational abilities, and effective time management skills. - Educational Background: Holds a BSc or BA in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. - Language: Fluent in English to be able to communicate with the team and the clients.
