Introduction to the position
Join Jobzyn, a NextGen recruitment platform, as a Senior Product Manager – AI, HR & Talent Acquisition. You’ll own the design and oversee the execution of the evaluation frameworks that power our AI-driven pre-screening and interview systems. Working at the intersection of product, AI/ML, and recruitment, you’ll define how candidates are evaluated across domains, seniority levels, and international markets, while collaborating closely with our tech, product, and leadership teams.
This is a freelance position, with a strong preference for candidates who believe in our mission and are open to long-term collaboration.
The initial duration of this mission is 5 months. With the possibility of either extension, or joining us full-time depending on results.
Your role
As a Senior Product Manager – AI, HR & Talent Acquisition, you will:
- Research & Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct research with partners, recruiters, and universities to deeply understand recruitment practices and feed insights into product development.
- Define Evaluation Frameworks: Design structured evaluation knowledge bases and rulebooks for candidate pre-screening and interviews across industries, markets, and seniority levels.
- Shape AI Workflows: Translate frameworks into AI/ML ready into artifacts (prompts, data schemas, structured datasets, eval criteria) for integration into ML and LLM workflows.
- Lead Data Preparation & Evals: Oversee processes for data collection, cleaning, labeling, and evaluation. Define requirements for AI workflows, including model evaluation and monitoring.
- Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with engineering, product and talent acquisition teams to ensure evaluation frameworks are implemented effectively.
- Establish Feedback Loops: Monitor outputs from AI workflows, benchmark performance, and drive iteration cycles to refine system accuracy.
- Stay at the Cutting Edge: Track the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, evaluation platforms (e.g. LangFuse), and HR tech to bring best practices into Jobzyn’s product.
Your team
You’ll join a passionate team of innovators dedicated to transforming recruitment through AI. Working directly with the CTO, CEO, and product leadership, you’ll have a central role in defining how our AI evaluates candidates, while collaborating with experts across engineering, HR, marketing, and business.
Your qualifications
Required:
- 6–9 years of experience as a Product Manager or consultant in AI/ML, HR tech, or data-driven products.
- Strong familiarity with AI/ML concepts: LLMs, model training, data prep, evaluation workflows, and prompt engineering.
- Ability to define requirements for ML/LLM workflows and evaluation processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English (required) and French (bonus).
- Strong business and product acumen; able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to conduct structured research and engage with stakeholders to inform product decisions.
Nice to Have:
- Technical background in Machine Learning, Data Science, or AI (hands-on experience a strong plus).
- Familiarity with model evaluation platforms such as LangFuse.
- Experience in HR tech, recruitment platforms, or candidate assessment systems.
- Experience leading teams handling data prep, annotation, or evaluation.
