Introduction to the position
We are looking for a Head of International Sourcing to lead our e-commerce sourcing operations in China.
This role is pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of high-quality consumer goods for our e-commerce business in Morocco.
The Head of International Sourcing will be responsible for driving relationships with sourcing agencies, prospecting exclusive suppliers in China, and ensuring their successful onboarding and integration into our online platform.

Your role
-Define the sourcing strategy and lead relationships with sourcing agencies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
-Prospect and onboard new suppliers and sourcing agencies: actively identify and engage new partners to expand the marketplace’s supplier base. Collaborate with the E-commerce Category Management Team to source agencies across various consumer goods categories that meet company standards for quality, price, and delivery.
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost optimization and ensure value creation.
-Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, local regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
-Monitor and evaluate sourcing agency performance, conduct regular audits, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
-Lead, coach, and develop the sourcing team, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and operational excellence.
Your qualifications
-Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or International Trade.
-Proven experience in sourcing and procurement in China, ideally supporting North African or European markets.
-Expertise in commercial prospection, supplier sourcing, and negotiation.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Fluency in Chinese, English, and French (mandatory).
